Sally Ross Brown is an author, advocate, and entrepreneur whose work centers on disability awareness and empowerment. Living with cerebral palsy, she draws from her personal experiences to write impactful books like Different: What Your Special Needs Child Wants You to Know and Big Red Bike, offering guidance and insight to families navigating life with special needs. 

 

Beyond writing, Sally founded Every Kid Mobility, an adaptive bike company that operated from 2004 to 2009, and also developed personalized mobility devices to support children’s independence and confidence. She lives in San Diego with her wife, Vickie, their extended family, and energetic dog. She's embracing her role as a “professional grandmother” to twins Ava and Dylan. Sally continues to inspire through her storytelling, public speaking, and advocacy for inclusion and accessibility.
